Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Double row angular contact ball bearings are designed to support combined radial and axial loads in both directions within a single bearing unit.
The back-to-back internal arrangement provides higher load capacity, improved axial stiffness, and stable shaft positioning compared to single row designs.
Lumi manufactures high-quality double row angular contact ball bearings with precision-ground raceways and optimized contact angle geometry, ensuring smooth operation, stable running accuracy, and reliable performance under high load conditions.
These bearings are available in various sizes and sealing configurations, including open, shielded, and sealed types.
Double row angular contact ball bearings are widely used in machine tools, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, electric motors, and other industrial equipment where compact design, high rigidity, and simplified bearing arrangements are required.
Lumi also offers OEM / ODM customization services to meet specific application requirements.

Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings

Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings: Performance & Advantages

Designed to support combined radial loads and axial loads in both directions, ensuring stable performance under complex operating conditions.
Combined Load Support
The double row back-to-back arrangement increases load capacity and axial stiffness while improving overall load distribution.
Higher Load Capacity and Axial Stiffness
Integrates the function of two single row bearings into one unit, reducing axial space requirements and simplifying installation.
Compact Design with Simplified Installation
Precision-ground raceways and optimized contact angles ensure smooth rotation, accurate shaft guidance, and consistent performance.
Stable Operation & Precise Positioning

Double Row Angular Contact Ball Bearings: Sealing Types & Configurations

Open Type
Open type bearings are manufactured without seals or shields, allowing direct access to the raceways and rolling elements. They are suitable for clean operating environments or applications with external lubrication and high-speed operation performance requirements.
Shielded Type (ZZ)
Shielded bearings are equipped with metal shields on both sides to provide basic protection against dust and solid contaminants. They maintain low friction and are suitable for applications requiring moderate protection with relatively high rotational speeds.
Sealed Type (2RS)
Sealed bearings use elastomer contact seals on both sides to prevent the ingress of moisture, dust, and contaminants. They provide enhanced sealing performance and improved lubrication retention, making them suitable for humid or contaminated operating environments.
